Snack and Meals Service

Snack And Meals Service in Orlando: Fresh Daily Meals at Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips

Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips provides a snack and meals service in Orlando for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our cook makes breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack on site, and our infant room teachers handle feeding for babies.

We are a Florida Gold Seal Quality Care day care center. We are also a preschool that prepares kids for kindergarten. We plan meals as part of your child’s day, because a child who has eaten well has the energy to learn, play and get along with others.

We’re open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Book a tour and see mealtime for yourself.

Daycare Meals Included in Orlando Save Working Parents Time

Daily meals served on site at Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips take one big job off your morning list. Many families in the Dr. Phillips community have two working parents. Some work at the theme parks. Others work along International Drive or in the restaurants on Sand Lake Road’s Restaurant Row. Those jobs often start early, end late or change from week to week.

When meals are served on site every day, you don’t have to pack lunches, plan snacks or find time to shop for them. Mornings run smoother because the food is already handled.

Our hours are built for hospitality schedules:

  • Drop-off starts at 6:30 AM.
  • Pickup runs until 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Flexible scheduling helps when your shifts change.

A parent who starts work at 7:00 AM near Universal can drop off, head to work and know that breakfast is on its way for their child. If your family has strict food preferences, talk with us first so you know how our meals fit your child.

Our on-site nutrition program serves fresh, balanced meals at Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips every day. If you’re comparing preschools with meals in Orlando, ask each one a simple question first: where is the food made? At our school, our own cook prepares it in our building.

From 6 Weeks Old

Infant Feeding Follows Your Baby’s Day in Our Infant Room

Infant feeding at Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips is handled by the same infant room teachers your baby sees every day. We care for babies from 6 weeks old. Going back to work is a big step for parents in Bay Hill and across Orlando, and knowing who feeds your baby makes that step easier.

Our infant room teachers stay with their age group all day. Parents name these teachers in their reviews, again and again. That steady team gets to know how your baby eats and when your baby gets hungry.

Share your baby’s routine with our teachers. Tell us about feeding times, amounts and any signs your baby shows when hungry. After that, you can message teachers directly through the parent app whenever you have a feeding question, even in the middle of your workday. You don’t have to wait until pickup.

Energy for the Afternoon

Daily Snacks Support Active Play Through Florida Heat

Our daily afternoon snack at Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips gives toddlers and preschoolers energy between learning and play. It keeps busy children going through the rest of the afternoon.

Our children spend that energy building and playing pretend in our creative play centers, climbing on a playground with shaded equipment and safety surfacing, and cooling off in our water play area.

Central Florida weather shapes how play time works. Summers are hot. Afternoon thunderstorms roll in often, and hurricane season runs June through November. When storms hit, play moves inside to our library, our Playtown dramatic play room or our art room, so your child keeps moving even when the weather keeps everyone indoors.

Because Orlando stays warm all year, children in the Dr. Phillips community play outside in every season, not just in summer, and they need a regular snack to keep up.

Stay Informed About Mealtime With Real-Time App Updates

Real-time app updates from Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips let you follow your child’s day, and direct teacher messaging lets you ask about meals. Parents in Williamsburg, the Turkey Lake area and across Orlando often want to know the small details, like whether their child ate lunch today.

Along with app updates and teacher messaging, you get live parent camera access, so you can see classrooms during the day. If you want to know how your child ate, ask a teacher through the app. The answer helps you plan dinner, and it helps you notice changes in appetite early.
