Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips is an owner-operated preschool and child care center, caring for children from 6 weeks to 12 years just 2.6 miles (about 13 minutes) from Universal Studios.

We partner with families to help every child reach their fullest potential, nurturing a natural love of learning with love, care and respect.

Childhood should feel like one big adventure. Our classrooms are full of wonder, new things to try and plenty of laughter, with real learning built into every part of the day. Our goal is simple: to put every child on a path that helps them grow and smile.

We’re open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and we offer flexible scheduling for parents who work early, late or shifting hours near the theme parks.

Meet Our Leadership

A Passion for Every Child

Ms. Yliana brings more than 15 years of experience in the childcare field, six of them as a director. Originally from Venezuela, she’s known to children and parents simply as “Ms. Yliana,” and she has a great passion for children.

“Working with children is a great experience because it allows me to make a difference in each child’s life, teaching them with love and knowledge and preparing them to be successful in later life.”
